About the team:
Code Connect is FIS' open banking/open finance portal. The APIs on Code Connect expose the vast features and capabilities FIS offers in an open environment. The collection of data and functionality across the FIS ecosystem that can be reassembled to generate new and innovative solutions.
The Code Connect teams are responsible for the API Catalog.
What you will be doing:
You will be assisting in managing the development teams responsible for the execution and deliverables for the Code Connect Catalog train.
- Plan and participate in PI planning
- Assist with high level design reviews for features committed to by the Catalog development teams
- Oversee deliverables and assist with removing team obstacles
- Provide technical expertise to developers as needed
- Assist with overseeing publication aspects of the Experience API initiative which is a multi year endeavor
What you bring:
- Strong JAVA expertise
- Experience with REST APIs
- 5 years development management experience
- Mentorship experience for broad range of developers entry level to highly experienced
- CD/CI background
Added bonus if you have:
- Knowledgeable and work history with Experience APIs
- Knowledgeable and work history with Experience Design and data model
- Agile SAFe background
