Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience as a software engineer, developer, or equivalent technical experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience in computer science.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

As a Developer Relations Engineer (DRE) for Google Classroom and Education, your goal is to help education technology companies and schools build impactful learning experiences for administrators, instructors, and students with Google Classroom, Google Workspace, and other products that are useful to educators. Our goal is to ensure the smoothest possible experience for educators and learners in the world as they assemble their digital toolkits with Google technology.
Responsibilities
- Work with product managers and engineering to build a roadmap for our externally facing application programming interfaces (APIs) to best serve partner use cases.
- Route, resolve, and if necessary, escalate developer issues and requests.
- Promote API updates and features, including managing early access programs.
- Develop reference applications, documentation, tutorials, guidelines, and other informative materials to help developers.
