At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. Once we can safely travel, you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

We are seeking a passionate, curious, and a focused Senior Developer Support Engineer with solution engineering and software engineering expertise.. This role will be a part of GoDaddy Commerce team and in this role, you will have a direct impact on helping existing & potential partners to expand their business on GoDaddy platform, increase their outreach and give developers new revenue channels to drive monetization for them and GoDaddy. You will work in a high-performance team environment to drive our channel efforts by providing technical expertise on developer operations, support, and technical partnerships. 

This role will be part of GoDaddy developer platform & Vertical Solutions Team. This is a new team we are building to address GoDaddy developer platform, app content, and vertical solutions.

What you'll get to do...

• Be a technical subject matter expert for GoDaddy’s Commerce developers and partners, acting as a dedicated subject matter expert as they integrate with GoDaddy Developer Platform.
• Work with 3rd party developers and have them build fantastic apps that solve real world problems and enhance Commerce verticalization for GoDaddy commerce partner to build out their capabilities and solutions to grow their and drive revenue on GoDaddy platform.
• Manage Developer Onboarding Process & build App Quality Control Mechanism
• Build tools & processes that simplify app development and support
• Develop App Certification Process
• Provide examples and demo apps that showcase our features and best practices
• Work with our engineering team to improve documentation for our developer platform and API
• Engage with our Engineering teams to investigate challenging technical puzzles and developer issues.
• Mentor junior dev-ops engineers

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of building solutions for 3rd party developers in an developer ecosystem setting or developer marketplace.
• Experience building and working with RESTful APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communications

Your experience may include...

• Developer Partnership management experience
• Experience with WooCommerce and WordPress
