The Developer Associate will support a large CMS project. The ideal candidate will have proven experience indesigning, developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex new software products.

• Contributes to completion of specific programs and projects.
• Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
• Test software development methodology in an agile environment
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analyst, project managers and other engineers
• Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization's capabilities
• Assist in application, database, and data warehouse design

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline plus 0-2 years of related software development experience OR the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Hands on coding, Python scripting, Angular, HTML, Java, Python
• Experience with AWS, DevOps principles, database design, Hadoop
• Knowledge of AI and ML concepts
• Full Stack development experience
• Experience with web design principals
• Experience with unit and/or integration testing
• Experience with code reviews
• Experience with continuous integration
• Experience with Agile development such as Scrum
• Experience with SQL or similar database language

Desired Education and Experience

• CMS or in the Health Care Industry experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources
• Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority.
• Hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable data platforms, with experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science and data products
• Ability to make significant enhancements to existing software with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Assist in application, database, and data warehouse design
• Work effectively and efficiently as a team member in time-sensitive situations
