Position Description: Wealth Management ? BPM Senior Developer

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Technology is seeking a Software Engineer candidate with expertise in design, development of various Services API and Workflows as part of WM Data Client/Account On-boarding group. The candidate will join the group responsible for WM-Data, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's Services and Workflow silo delivery platform to help address their client's needs, grow their practice, and enhance our Culture of Investment Excellence.

Role & Responsibilitie

The position is for a hands-on role and the candidate will be responsible for analyzing user specifications and requirements and providing assistance in coding, testing and debugging applications. The candidate is expected to provide technical expertise and recommendations in designing and building business process workflows and business rules as well as enhancing our existing applications. The candidate will also be required to code, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of the SDLC.

The candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable and excellent team player. The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Experience:
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical analysis, design, development and implementations of highly scalable systems.
• Experience working with IBM ODM business rule
• Professional experience in building business workflow applications in IBM BPM, Java or other middleware technologies.
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems. Working proficiency in developmental toolsets including XML, XPath, XSLT, SOAP and Web services, REST and Junit
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture discipline
• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practice
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Strong understanding of domain driven design, Micro services patterns and architecture
• Excellent analytical ability, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple high priority environments/projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skill
