General Summary:

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Science, Engineering
• 5+ years of professional or academic experience in silicon data analysis and yield correlation/enhancement. Knowledge of yield models and Foundry operations
• Strong background on data statistics and automation
• Deep understanding of device physics and basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes including FINFET and Gate-All-Around technologies
• Familiarity with silicon data sources such as PCM, inline metrology, wafer sort. Must be hands on for meaningful analysis
• Familiarity with ASIC frontend/backend integration flows and sufficient in PTSI timing checks
• Good knowledge of spice models and experience creating, running, and interpreting spice simulations
• Programming expertise with languages including Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell
• Hands on experience with Exensio/Yield Explorer tools is a plus
• Knowledge of failure analysis techniques and basic diagnosis flow
• Strong collaboration with design team, test engineering team, and process technology team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Qualcomm may require the successful candidate to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their start date, depending on applicable law or regulation or the circumstances of the pandemic. Qualcomm follows the CDC definition of "fully vaccinated" as being two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer or Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson; however, if the CDC definition of "fully vaccinated" changes, so may Qualcomm's. Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
