What you'll be able to do:
This position is in the IT Design and Build organization, supporting Ford Motor Company's Quality and Product Development skill teams. Global Integrator also tracks research and technology projects and is used by over 15,000 engineers globally.
- Utilize the Agile methodology to develop software for the Global Integrator application.
- Develop and supports the Global Integrator application used by engineers to track and report vehicle program development progress against GPDS milestones.
- Provides a great opportunity to gain experience in Agile, Rally, Product Development, and Quality.
- Develop functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and perform regression testing.
- Review continuous integration build status and fix build failures.
- Review ongoing production software operations and troubleshoot production issues.
- Actively participate in all team Agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Retrospective.
- Actively supports the long-term delivery roadmap of the software product.
- Provides input to product governance communications.
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study
- 2+ years of experience in software development
