Database Developer 

Internet Testing Systems (ITS) is seeking a Database Developer to join our team in Baltimore, MD. No 3rd party resumes will be accepted.

We are looking for a results-driven and a data passionate engineer to join the Database Development team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with great attention to detail and has excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with the team and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update complex stored procedures, user defined functions, tables, indexes, views, and triggers
• Generate complex ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
• Query performance tuning
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting with on-call support
• Support database initiatives related to security, capacity, scalability, performance, platform upgrades, service agreements, and disaster recovery

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a SQL Database developer
• Good understanding of SQL Server fundamentals and optimization utilizing SQL execution plans
• Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems
• Attention to detail, diligent and thorough 
• Service-oriented, dedicated, motivated to grow, with a focus on continual learning 
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information/computer science or equivalent work experience
