Data Security Engineer, Mid
Key Role:
Architect, deploy, and configure data security solutions across various clients for DoD, IC, and Civilian Federal clients. Create new architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero T rus t best practices and IC data header guidelines. Interface with key stakeholders, including agency personnel and internal delivery and engineering teams. Build custom policy to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with designing, deploying, and configuring data security solutions
• Experience with Virtru or Varonis data security tools; performing systems administration, including performing installation, configuration, monitoring system performance and availability, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Experience with data-centric security models including policy creation and maintenance
• Experience integrating ICAM solutions with data security tool vendors providing attribute and role-based access control policies
• Experience with designing, implementing, configuring, operating, or testing IT systems or security infrastructure
• Experience documenting and diagraming te chn ical architectures
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience working in federal, DoD, or IC agency environments
• Experience with Linux administration
• Experience with Titus Data Classification
• Experience with containerization solutions
• Knowledge of federal information security policies , standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems• Top Secret clearance preferred
• Bachelor's degree in IT Security or Engineering
