Overview

Come join Intuit's AI+Data organization, working on our self-serve data infrastructure and Data Map initiatives! This initiative seeks to map every data set and every data producing and consuming system at the company - this in turn will allow Intuit's teams to build the intelligent data driven systems that will form the backbone of Intuit AI Driven Expert platform.

We are forming a new team in this organization explicitly focused on putting - our strategy for mapping all of Intuit's data is to leverage the Data Mesh approach to standardize the way data driven systems at Intuit are developed, managed and documented so that we can increase developer productivity, data discoverability, data understandability and data security. The capability this team builds will be the linchpin of all the other capabilities in the AI+Data organization. There will be ample opportunity to partner with a number of other teams at Intuit as well as thought leaders throughout the industry to forge a new set of standards in this emerging space

What you'll bring

• 4-6 years' experience in services development - Java programming languages; relational and nosql database technology.
• Experience with agile development and scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in designing highly available and scalable software.
• Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with Unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to hammer out consensus and decisions from a large audience of stakeholders.
• Motivated to work with other engineering teams to understand problems, collaborate on development and evangelize data capabilities.
• Experience providing on-call rotational support to the team to help triage and address production issues.
• Self-starter, quick learner and a great team player able to lead other team members and learn from them.
• Experience with container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. ECS/EKS, Kubernetes)
• AWS experience

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML, data engineering and streaming technologies
