environment. The Data Horizontal team within Enterprise Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, who develop industry leading data services solutions in support of multiple Data Warehouses providing quality, controlled data that is used for liquidity regulatory reporting.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Programmer/Engineer to aid in our strategic technical objectives, which include modernizing our infrastructure, migrating to the latest, firm-sanctioned Agile tools and aiding in our migration to platforming onto containers.
Role Overview
Enterprise Finance Technology's Data Horizontal DevOps team is looking for motivated new talent to enhance the tooling, architecture, and capabilities of several EFT data warehouse and validation systems. The candidate will contribute to a range of strategic goals to build automated, controlled and intuitive software solutions in support of the Agile methodology. These solutions will allow self-service and easy-to-manage capabilities for the overall development team in the building, testing and deployment of future production-quality code. The candidate will also provide technical support and guidance for the processes and mechanisms in support of the above. The candidate will act as both an individual contributor and as part of a global team.

  • Seeking developer with some exposure to and awareness of DevOps tools and processes
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical working experience in at least 3 of the following technologies:
    • Python
    • Unix shell scripting
    • Informatica ETL
    • Relational Databases, preferably Oracle Exadata
  • Understanding of the Agile methodology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Passion for automation and continual process improvement


Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:

  • Experience using and/or configuring common SDLC tools that support Agile, such as Jira, Jenkins, Ansible
  • Understanding of and exposure to AutoSys
  • Knowledge of or exposure to common Python packages, such as PySpark
  • Experience or familiarity with orchestration tools, such as Airflow
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse / Data Mart / Business Intelligence concepts.
