Alcon is seeking a Cybersecurity Endpoint Architect in Fort Worth, TX. The Cybersecurity Endpoint Architect is responsible for defining the technical endpoint security standards as well as designing and blueprinting the endpoint security architectures within Alcon's environment. Additionally, this individual will support project teams in choosing the right endpoint security architectures to support system requirements balancing security risk. The Cybersecurity Endpoint Architect is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest endpoint security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products. This will be accomplished by applying industry best practices and guidance from regulations, standards, and frameworks like the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF, 800-53, etc.), International Standards Organization (ISO 27001 & 2, etc.), Center for Internet Security (CIS), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategic architecture roadmaps for the organization focusing on endpoint protection technology needs aligned to business objectives.
• Provide input and guidance in the design, development and implementation security policy, standards and controls related to endpoint security.
• Work closely with Engineering and Operational teams to ensure designs meet both security and business requirements and Support key IT, Product and/or OT projects in their security architectural setup.
• Assist with tier 3 triage of security events and recommend required changes in process or technology to ensure the maturity of the security program.
• Understand and anticipate regulatory and technical trends, competitive dynamics, company capabilities and customer demands, while understanding ongoing information security requirements resulting from the evolution of the company's products and services, as well as the regulatory, technical and risk environments related to endpoint security technologies.
• Assist in educating business functional areas, product owners, engineering teams and Global Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance functions to inform and educate on cybersecurity risk.
• Drive operational effectiveness through automation, collaboration and focus on continuous improvement.

• Delivery of key security projects on time and budget
• Adherence to the Alcon's security and compliance standards
• Adherence to Alcon IT's processes
• Associate Engagement Dashboard (AED) participation & score

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Experience:

• 3 years of experience in information technology security. Healthcare, medical device or pharma experience preferred.
• CISSP or equivalent certification
