Cybersecurity Architect
The Gopuff team is looking for a diligent, creative, and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Architect to join our growing Cybersecurity team. The Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for designing, delivering architecture guidance, leading proof-of-concept projects and adapting the Company's network and cloud security infrastructure that are responsive to changes in regulations and risk. This requires knowing the business - a comprehensive awareness of its technology and information needs - which is used to develop and test security structures to protect its systems. This position can be located in Philadelphia, New York, or Boston, and will report to the Lead Cyber Security Architect/Head of Cyber Security.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for the Company;
- Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy;
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats;
- Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge;
- Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements;
- Act as a solutions-focused business partner to our Engineering, DevOps, IT, and Security teams; and
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
Key Requirements
- BS level technical degree or equivalent professional experience;
- Highly technical and analytical, possessing 15+ years of IT implementation experience;
- 5+ years' experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, including privacy, controls, etc.;
- Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements;
- Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and deployment (DevOps);
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations; and
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in a multi-tasked environment; and
- True passion to make a real impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft AZURE Experience;
- Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape;
- Proven experience building security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios;
- Significant technical expertise in Cloud Computing technologies, scripting languages (Python, RoR, etc), integrating 3rd party monitoring tools, encryption tools and best practices, and forensics;
- Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM;
- Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape;
- Deep understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes in a multinational environment;
- Working knowledge of cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges; and
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
