Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$67,000.00 - $110,500.00

What Is the Opportunity?

The Cloud Security Engineering team within Infrastructure and Cloud Services organization, is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst who will have responsibility for the development of automation security monitoring, alerting, and remediation solutions. Leveraging cloud toolsets such as Terraform Modules, Sentinel Policies, and other remediation and automation jobs. The position will also include conducting security reviews of new cloud service offerings, establishing secure configurations which includes operationalizing and testing of these new business driven services. This position will also be involved with the Implementation and management of container security products and programs as requested by the business. Additional functions to be performed include providing consulting services around selection and configuration of new SaaS products and/or cloud-based applications or services.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide operational support, troubleshooting and maintenance of Security related processes, controls or products.
• Independently analyze and resolve problems of low complexity.
• Configure, test, document and implement new or upgrades to security processes, controls or products as directed.
• Under supervision, participates in resolving situations involving improper attempts to access or infiltrate our networks.
• Independently implement changes to area procedures or products as directed.
• Support reviewing or identifying security events and escalating to management.
• Participate in Security and enterprise projects as assigned.
• Act as a security representative at design and new technology meetings.
• May provide guidance to more junior employees.
• Providing consulting services around selection and configuration of new SaaS products and/or cloud based applications or services.
• Administer AWS and GCP technologies
• Plan, design, develop, and test cloud-based applications
• Development of automation security monitoring, alerting, and remediation solutions
• Building out solutions for Terraform Modules, Sentinel Policies, and other remediation solutions
• Perform security reviews of new cloud service offerings
• Establish secure configurations which includes operationalizing and testing of these new business driven services
• Build/migrate applications, resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve use of the Google Cloud Platform
• Provide hands-on help in supporting the Public Cloud teams with their target platform-specific project needs
• Ability to analyze the current Application architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement
• Understand how to best manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines and controls

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of work experience within Computer Science or a related field required.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline preferred.
• Three years of relevant experience with Cybersecurity practices, processes, and Cybersecurity event investigation/resolution preferred.
• Experience providing high-level support with a comprehensive knowledge of specific IS Security methodologies, processes, and software packages and a conceptual understanding of other IS Security procedures and policies preferred.
