Description:We have an exciting opportunity with the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Cyber Security Management area. Come join our Lockheed Martin leadership team!

As an Engineering & Technology Manager (ETM), the selected candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership, management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. For this assignment, the ETM will manage a team of embedded and cyber security software engineers.

For the management and development of their team, the ETM is responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.

To support functional initiatives and directorate undertakings, the ETM is responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.

To drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, the ETM is responsible for supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program. The candidate will be responsible for creation, delivery and review of software-related products and documentation. The candidate would help to develop strategy and techniques to support secure system development.

The ideal candidate would have experience in the fields of embedded real-time software engineering, cybersecurity/anti-tamper and experience leading a technical team. The ideal candidate would also understand security protocol design, analysis, and embedded design principles; an understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and software assurance measures and practices; an understanding of NSA-approved cryptographic standards and methods; detailed knowledge cryptographic key management; detailed knowledge of attack and counter measure and program protection plans.

Candidates filling this position will need a clearance at the level specified in "Clearance Level" or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
Assessing and mitigating system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle
Demonstrated Ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
Embedded software engineering technical leadership and/or management including design/architecture development, task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Full System Lifecycle development experience
Program Protection (Anti-Tamper) development
Desired Skills:
One or more cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CSSP, CEH, Security+) or able to obtain
System Security Engineering (SSE) implementation: system security design and implementation
Ability to implement cryptography solutions based on customer requirements
Implement Network solutions
Knowledge of software development lifecycle models (e.g., Waterfall Model, Spiral Model, Agile Model).
Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., Transmission Critical Protocol/Internet Protocol [TCP/IP], Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol [DHCP]), and directory services (e.g., Domain Name System [DNS])
Knowledge of operating systems
Knowledge of real-time, embedded operating systems
Knowledge of secure coding techniques
Extensive Embedded C++ 11 or greater development experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret
