This position is for a Cyber Systems Security Engineer reporting to the Program Cyber Security Engineering Manager. The Engineer will be part of a dynamic security engineering team working to capture, define, architect, develop, integrate, and sell-off products to government customers.

In this role, you will provide support to the cyber engineering lead performing the following:• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle• Assist in planning and executing penetration tests across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, including Linux and Windows.• Design the T&E environment to include hardware and software tools as well as equipment and applications to emulate systems and threats• Development of T&E Plans and Procedures• Coordinate risk assessments and Cyber Table Top (CTT) reviews in support of T&E activities• Execute and coordinate threat assessments and attack surface analysis activities• Conduct risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions.• Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.• Execute cyber test activities to include test reporting and software assurance (SWA) related testing activities
Basic Qualifications:• Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.)• Hands-on Experience with coding or scripting (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python)• Performance of software code evaluations and/or software unit, integration, and/or qualification tests• Networking fundamentals• Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance. (Must be a U.S. Citizen)
Desired Skills:• Vulnerability Analysis• Knowledge of Open Source Intelligence and similar methodologies• Strong technical writing skills (e.g., Test procedures, reports, etc.)• Possess Cyber testing related certification(s) (e.g., GPEN, OSCP, etc.)• Penetration Testing / Red Team experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
