About the team:
Fraud Fusion program provides real-time coverage of existing fraud schemes, improving identification of emerging threats, and increases visibility and response to prevent and successfully react to fraud. Fraud Fusion will reduce fraud losses and exposure while increasing discovery of fraud and response time and sustain a positive client experience.
What you will be doing:
• Designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting various information systems and cyber security software to support Fraud Fusion.
• Assesses security conditions on devices such as web servers, mail servers, routers, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Evaluates, codes and implements software fixes (patches) to address system vulnerabilities such as malicious code (e.g., viruses), system exploitation using SQL injection, cross-site scripting, buffer overflows, parameter tampering, hidden field manipulation, cookie poisoning and web services manipulation.
• Conducts security assessments of systems and applications using penetration tests, ethical hacking tools and risk assessment mediation methodologies to evaluate vulnerabilities.
Main duties and responsibilities :
• Identify threats and vulnerabilities in systems and software, apply known skills to developing and implementing high-tech solutions to defend against cyber crimes which would result in fraud losses to FIS
• Identify and implement safeguards with known intelligence to create innovative ways to build and support internal databases
• Troubleshoot and resolve network problems to secure Fraud Fusion environments
• Ensure Fraud Fusion data and infrastructure are protected by enabling and supporting proper security controls.
• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade Fraud Fusion security measures for the protection of FIS data, systems, and networks.
What you bring:
• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
• 2 years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
• Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
• Strong awareness of cybersecurity trends and techniques.
Added bonus if you have:
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or Power Shell.
• Internal FIS Business Knowledge
• Computer Science Degree
• Cyber Security certifications or associated industry degrees
