Pratt & Whitney is seeking a motivated, self-starting ME Customer Support Engineer to lead investigation, reporting, and improvement efforts for the Pratt & Whitney PW4062 engine. As a member of our team, you will drive customer satisfaction by influencing designs for supportability, maintainability, lifecycle cost, and help resolve technical issues on propulsion system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form and lead cross functional teams with the customer, CSE, and CIPTs to resolve PW4062 engine operation, test, troubleshooting and logistical issues.
  • Lead investigations on engine or aircraft interface issues to identify root cause of anomalies and identify improvements.
  • Develop and implement logistics plans for corrective actions in the field.
  • Author Position Papers using technical data provided by other organizations to transmit recommendations and verify effectiveness and closure of recommendations.
  • Coordinate with CIPTs to support activities involved in implementing and conducting DR or SIB investigations and submission of a DR or SIB final letter or report.
  • Lead, coordinate, prepare and present technical support of Propulsion Technical Meetings and Propulsion Users Conferences
  • Present major issues and solutions to internal management team and external customers in various communications meetings.
  • Participate in daily/weekly customer telecons to provide status of PW4062 engine activities.
  • Support and present monthly to the PW4062 (KC-46) internal safety meeting.
  • Create, manage, and execute presentations across multiple organizations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience/training required
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience working with commercial or military turbine engines required
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with design, manufacture, or maintenance of the PW4000 Pratt & Whitney engines.
  • Demonstrated successful management of large-scale projects, including the management of multiple priorities in parallel.
  • Experience with field service, logistics, corrective actions, and writing technical reports
  • Able to present findings and recommendations to both internal and external customers
