At Tyler Technologies, our corporate IT team has the responsibility for ensuring seamless service delivery to fellow Tyler employees using Microsoft Dynamics CRM. We are adding a CRM Application Engineer who will work with fellow software engineers to customize, integrate, develop workflows, perform system analyses, and provide ongoing support for end users of MS Dynamics CRM. This role is ideal for someone familiar with Dynamics CRM who wants the take their career to the next level as an application engineer designing custom development and interfaces between Dynamics CRM and other systems.Responsibilities

• Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging Dynamics CRM/D365 CE platform and your software engineering skills.
• Liaise with IT and related Business Units on future strategy of platform, capacity planning, upgrades, etc.
• Develop plug-ins for MS Dynamics CRM
• Work with Tyler IT teams to provide advanced support and troubleshooting pertaining to CRM or associated plug-ins.
• Develop forms, report customizations, or other tools needed by Tyler's business units.
• Execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered
• Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
• Develop detailed technical solution documentation for distribution and use by IT and business users

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field, or comparable work experience
• Background in development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
• Typically requires 3+ years of custom software development
• 1-2+ years of CRM/D365 CE development experience is preferred.
• Prior experience working with end users to develop solutions in Dynamics CRM
• Experience with PowerApps and Power automate a plus
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and KingswaySoft experience a plus
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
• Demonstrated experience with writing and troubleshooting Dynamics CRM plug-ins and custom workflow activities
• Ability to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions to anticipate and mitigate risks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
