MANDATORY SKILLS: Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
An additional four (4) years of System Engineering experience may be substituted for the Bachelors degree.
Five (5) years of professional system engineering experience, with a minimum of three (3) years circuit switch engineering experience with DoD, other or DoD signals processing systems.
Within three (3) of the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) of the specializations listed in Table 1 Engineering Specializations, one of which shall be specialization IV Systems Engineering.
One (1) year of extensive experience in the last three (3) years with one (1) of the sets of technologies listed in Table 2 Core technologies.
Within two (2) of the last three (3) years, extensive experience with four (4) of the programs listed in Table 3 Engineering/Software Integration Specialization.
Experience integrating, installing, configuring, changing and optimizing HW & SW solutions into an overall system architecture.
Experience loading and configuring the software on the appropriate hardware including the specific equipment, local controller and remote controller.
Experience integrating these processors and their HW & SW into overall system architecture.
