Commercial Mods Tool FocalCompany:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:00000285467Date Posted:2021-11-10-08:00Location:USA - Hazelwood, MO, USA - Long Beach, CAJob Description Qualifications: Position OverviewBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Commercial Modifications Engineering Tools/Applications Focal (6D2C Level 3) to help define, develop, validate, and update new and existing engineering software systems and tools for the BGS Commercial Modifications Organization. Partnering with various design and support engineering teams to define their needs for new or modified software systems and tools, then partner with IT developers to implement the needed changes to achieve improved efficiency within the engineering teams. This position is based in Long Beach, CA.Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineering teams and the IT organization to implement new or improved software systems and tools to support the engineering work statement.
• Work well in cross-functional cross-organizational and cross-site teams
• Verifying the capabilities needed are met by the processes/tools/systems.
• Partner with IT to integrate additional processes/tools/systems into the existing processes/tools/systems to fill those gaps.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Agile development programs
• 5+ years of experience working with a software development team
• Experience collaborating within a geographically dispersed team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience collaborating across functions and organizational levels is desired.
• Experience with engineering processes, regulatory and post production modification knowledge are desired.
• Experience with product design and processes is desired.
• Experience with software development is desired
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired.

Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
