Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Part of development team to achieve key business objectives
  • Involved in large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
  • Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making
  • Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Will be expected to handle smaller projects completely on their own
  • A great understanding of hospital contracting
  • Basic understanding of the health insurance business
  • Design, implement and maintain .Net application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
  • Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
  • Identify production and non-production application issues
  • Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects
  • Provide technical support and consultation for .Net application and infrastructure questions
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of programming experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT application support
  • 3+ years of experience gathering application requirements
  • 3+ years of web programming (HTML, C#, Java Script, .Net, MVC, Core) experience
  • 2+ years of database design (SQL Server, Stored proc, functions, SSRS, SSIS) experience
  • 2+ years of experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • 1+ years of front-end programming (React.js) experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience working in Azure environment
  • Experience working with Agile Methodology
