Job Description

The Denodo IT team is in charge of managing the IT infrastructure and assets as well as operating and evolving the global user applications, services, tools, and environments for our business and developer teams.

Your Mission

As part of the Denodo IT team, your mission is to manage the corporate IT infrastructure and assets as well as evolving and operating the suite of global user applications, services, tools, and environments for our business and developer teams.

Your Responsibilities

As a Cloud SysSecOps Engineer you will successfully employ a combination of high technical expertise, research and investigative know-how, troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, and communication skills between clients, partners, and internal Denodo teams to achieve your mission.

  • Design, plan and implement solutions to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of applications and services on Hybrid Cloud environments.
  • Perform operating system and network administration.
  • Execute capacity planning for the infrastructure growth support.
  • Propose and execute improvements in deployments.
  • Help to automate common tasks to improve the support workflow.
  • Assist and collaborate with non-technical end users.
  • Assist and collaborate with technical users like developers and testers.
  • Plan and test backup, recovery and restore procedures scenarios
  • Help maintain Inventory of assets, services, software and hardware
  • Contribute to document architectures, deployments and installations
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and tune up our running systems to ensure our SLA meets business requirements.
  • Be part of the On-call duties to support our platforms and services.

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications

  • Service oriented approach to working and collaboration when listening, assisting and advising people.
  • Team player, able to collaborate with others for the same goal.
  • Always curious and wanting to continuously learn.
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Resilient and able to adapt to changing or unexpected circumstances in an organization that needs to scale at speed.
  • Information security and data privacy compliance knowledge.
  • Experience working with network protocols and services.
  • Experience working and troubleshooting in server environments (Windows, Linux).
  • Experience in programming in a high-level language or scripting.
  • Experience in server virtualization technologies.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and marketplaces (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Ali Cloud, OpenShift...).
  • Experience working with Monitoring Tools.
  • Experience working with Version Control Tools (Git...).
  • Experience working in continuous integration, continuous deployment environments.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
