OXOS Medical is constantly innovating, building on our best-in-class imaging device, expanding into cloud-based imaging platforms, robotic guided imaging, intraoperative computed tomography, and telemedical solutions. OXOS Medical has raised $20M to date from prominent MedTech investors, venture capital firms, and renowned orthopedic surgeons.
OXOS is searching for a principal architect to design our flagship hybrid compute platform. The platform connects our hardware medical devices, medical software processing, and front end tele-medicine and portal applications. We are looking for a seasoned and passionate architect with in-depth skills with public cloud and devops technologies. The candidate will consume user stories and choose a stack of cloud services to utilize to implement the solution. The candidate will create a dev ops solution to support the architecture that includes continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing, monitoring, and authentication. The next goal will be to start implementing the solution while monitoring the environments and supporting the developers. We are looking for candidates that are comfortable with providing technology guidance, strategy, and deciding on best practices for our flagship platform.
The complete platform solution will require a combination of the following skills and experience to be successful:
Technologies: GCP, IaaS/PaaS, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud Datastore, Cloud SQL, docker, linux, terraform, gitlab
Languages (a plus): dart, java, bash
Regulations (a plus): HIPAA, IEC 62304, HiTrust
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a unified cloud platform to integrate our hardware products
- Collaborate with the front-end client teams to provide back-end services.
- Develop the logical and technical architecture for the platform
- Provide hands-on cloud admin, dev-ops and development
- Build and maintain technology roadmaps.
- Evaluate new and existing technologies and methodologies.
- Serving as leader and subject matter expert in cloud and DevOps technology
- Recommend improvements to technology and processes that increase the effectiveness of the team
- Creates proof of concepts to determine the viability of new or different technologies
- Facilitate collaborative design discussions and drive design reviews
Qualifications
- This is senior level position and only experienced architects should apply
- BS/MS in Computer Science related field or equivalent related professional experience
- 6 years of software development and architecture experience
- 4 years of Cloud and DevOps solutions architecture experience
- Proven hands-on experience with architecting, deploying, and monitoring complex solutions in a public cloud environment
- Demonstrated experience with full-stack software development
- Subject matter expertise in DevOps tools and methodologies
- Architect-level cloud certifications a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think from first principles.
