Position Summary

Position Summary

You'll focus on our customers' needs, working closely with IT leadership and stakeholders. Your primary responsibility is leading and supervising a team that is responsible for the Claritas cloud computing footprint. This will involve a multi-cloud strategy, security provisions, and network configuration.
Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud implementations in support of IT engineering objectives
• Participate in estimation of new initiatives
• Serve as an administrator on cloud accounts
• Stay current on modern technology and elastic computation approaches
• Track and report out on progress with higher levels of management
• Stay current on modern technology and software development approaches

Skills, Education and Experience

Skills, Education and Experience

Required:

• Ten (10) plus years of experience as a cloud engineer (or equivalent)
• Mastery of software engineering practices, tools, and methods
• Knowledge of at least one of GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience with network and cloud infrastructure configuration
• Demonstrable cloud experience within a large enterprise (in support of 10+ teams)
• Experience with cloud technologies in an "Infrastructure as Code" approach
• A good understanding of front-end technologies

Highly preferred:

• Certification in one or more of AWS, Azure, or GCP
• High security integration experience
• 7 years cloud experience
• A team player that is collaborative and communicative by nature
• Experience within a large (multi-team) development organization
• Experience with both functional and imperative programming approaches
• Bachelor's degree preferred
