Job Description JP Morgan Chase is looking for an extraordinary cloud engineer with an interest in leading the transformation of some of the industry's most influential platforms as they grow in the cloud. The ideal candidate has great problem-solving skills and loves staying up to date with the latest technology and uses it to develop innovative, cutting edge solutions. They have strong leadership qualities, great judgment, clear communication skills, and a track record of successful cloud transformations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and use of new and self-service tooling to support cloud transformation
  • Drive new components and features from concept to release design, develop, deploy, and operate at a steady cadence.
  • Share ownership of with application team codebases, service architectures, tools, and developer experience. Serve as a catalyst for increased development velocity.
  • Build solutions that integrate with JPMC's internal systems
  • Work closely with internal customers to understand their requirements and workflows and propose new features and ecosystem changes to streamline their experience using the cloud.


Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Public Cloud - AWS, Azure, VMWare
  • Proficiency in at least one infrastructure as code toolset and one modern programming language
  • Experience in building enterprise platforms that enable large-scale management of complex cloud resources
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning, services, security, and cost management in public cloud environments
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing systems that offer self-service and self-healing capabilities
  • Hands-on expertise in migrating and transforming enterprise workloads in the cloud
  • Practical knowledge of cloud shared responsibility model and security best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud foundations including:
    • Networking: DNS, SG, NACLs, Routes,
    • IAM: Roles, Control Policies, Organizational Units, etc.
  • Strong communication skills
  • AWS Certifications Desired:
    • Certified Solutions Architect Professional and/or DevOps Engineer
    • Solutions Architect - Associate / SysOps Administrator
