Responsibilities include building Azure environments or migrating workloads to the Azure cloud for our Consulting clients. Key focus areas include Azure IaaS, Migrations, App Modernization and DevOps.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clear understanding of Cloud foundations
• Implement greenfield Azure environments or migrate environments from on-prem to Azure
• Implement and support Azure IaaS, Azure Active Directory (AAD), VPN, Express Route, virtual networks, storage, backup, monitoring, policies (network security groups, role-based access control, resource quota management, etc.) using industry and corporate best practices.
• Develop and maintain Azure-related standards, policies, and procedures
• Design with security at the forefront
• Plan, design, and implement necessary configurations to ensure disaster recovery policies and compliance with Azure
• Great soft skills to manage client interactions
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects

Requirements

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of field experience as a Windows Administrator
• 2+ years cloud experience (Azure preferably)
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, Azure Active Directory (AAD), VPN, Express Route, virtual networks, servers, storage, backup, policies (network security groups, role-based access control, resource quota management, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with PaaS Services and Cloud Native capabilities
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps principles - AZDO, CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform or other)
• Experience implementing and defining best practices
• Experience debugging environment issues using available Azure tools
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems, DevOps principles and Containers is a plus
• Experience with troubleshooting software/application issues with operating systems
• Needs to be a self-starter, highly motivated and growth oriented
