The AWS Cloud/Devops Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation and CICD automation. A key part of the role is championing and leading infrastructure as code and applications build process.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
  • Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
  • Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
  • Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
  • Create and maintain Jenkins application deployment pipelines.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
  • Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
  • Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
  • Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3 ,Lambdas )
  • Experience in Infrastructure as code technologies like cloud formation or terraform
  • Understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
  • Experience with Jenkins to build application pipelines and maintain pipelines
  • Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
  • Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS
  • Ability to troubleshoot in cloud and understanding of CloudWatch
  • Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with different public cloud providers like Azure, GCP
  • Kubernetes experience
  • Version Control (GIT, SVN, STASH) experience
  • Scripting languages (shell, python...) experience
  • Bias for action and ownership
  • Exposure to healthcare domain and security needs be an added advantage

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $79,7000 to $142,600. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900.
