The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of Operational and automation activities in the Application Release Automation area for managing the CD platform as well as support of various deployment strategies that are developed through the application

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
  • Maintain Highly scalable infrastructure that manages concurrent releases for different applications across regions
  • Manage the Deployment automation platform which caters to all applications across Citi performing application releases to Cloud and traditional technologies
  • Interact with product vendors and responsible for packaging new releases/patches with new features or bug-fixes
  • Review issues and escalations, resolve production problems, ensuring that status and technical matters are reported to management in a timely manner
  • Strong CI/CD domain experience with focus on Kubernetes such as AWS EKS, OpenShift platforms
  • Strong experience with Linux (Red Hat)
  • Experience in Ansible/Python/Shell programming/scripting
  • Experience with Oracle Database
  • Fundamental understanding of Java and programming best practices
  • Recommend product customization for system integration



Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in a DevOps role
  • Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
  • Project Management experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
  • Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
