In this position you will join the team responsible for supporting the security certification and evaluations of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. This team works at a system and corporate level spanning across hardware, software and infrastructure while striving for industry-leading solutions. This team interacts with key stakeholders in engineering, physical and logical security teams, risk management, audits and corporate security teams, third party evaluation labs and evaluation authorities to successfully complete security evaluations of Qualcomm products and premises.

This work will expose the candidate to all aspects of product security across Qualcomm's Business Units, from supply chain security, security management, associated processes through certification requirements.

The candidate is expected to develop, define, and execute plans of record, including schedules, resources, tasks, technical deliverables, and risks.

Problem solving abilities as well as communication and negotiation skills are a must for this position. The candidate will have to convey complex, detailed information and action items to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels across several business units.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years physical and logical security experience, security management processes or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• 7+ years Security Management, logical and physical security, risk assessment or related work experience
• The successful candidate has a strong background in corporate security concepts, global security management and implementation techniques.
• Experience with security management, site security and security process deployment for development and manufacturing environments is a plus.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Product Security experience (may include risk assessment, vulnerability detection, etc.) or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Product Security experience (may include risk assessment, vulnerability detection, etc.) or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Product Security experience (may include risk assessment, vulnerability detection, etc.) or related work experience.
