Job Description

Infosys is seeking a C/C++ Embedded System Developer - In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of software application releases. The candidate must have domain and technology expertise to understand the business and technical requirements and do impact analysis. The candidate must be able to work with the product managers and development engineers to define & document product features and dependencies. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Design, Development, QA, Deployment and Triage; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA or initially work remotely and be willing to relocate within 2 months. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• Must have at least 4 years of experience in the IT industry. • Must have experience with C/C++. • Must be comfortable to do code reviews• Must have experience with Linux/Unix.• Must have experience with embedded systems

Preferred Qualifications:• Participate in design sessions and code reviews.• Thrive in a dynamic agile development process.• Good understanding and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance• Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams • Excellent communication skills, ability to lead the projects and present them to senior leaders.• Prior experience and sound knowledge of networking is highly desired. • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.• Prior experience in leading team.• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
