The WeightWatchers Commerce team builds the tools to support all WW commerce: every channel, world-wide. We move quickly and want to build the best possible solutions for our members, so we develop our features using modern engineering practices such as Agile methodology, CI/CD, microservices architecture. We are a Fullstack team, looking for dedicated Backend engineers who can improve our architecture to support our roadmap over the next 18 months and beyond.The Role:
As a senior Backend engineer on this team, you will design and code for new features, like our recently launched marketplace integration. In this role you will design and implement low-latency, highly available and performing applications that scale for millions of users. As a legacy company, there will always be legacy code, but we rely on our senior engineers to be future-focused, and bring in emerging tech.Skills:
- Thorough understanding of user experience and UI design principles
- Interest in eCommerce and public facing APIs
- Team player – you care about those around you and are excited to share knowledge with your peers
- Experience with React, preferred
