As part of the Digital Technologies Software Development team, you'll help drive digital transformation by contributing to our growing Cloud initiative. This initiative is a key component to the enablement of our portfolio of aerospace digital products. In the Cloud Engineer role, you will couple your experience in DevOps, automation, CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure, development and monitoring to drive the successful cloud deployment of cloud infrastructure and applications. Experience coding in one or more of C# or Java is required. Experience with more than one of Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, Azure, AWS and Agile is required for this role. You will collaborate with multiple teams worldwide on cloud technologies, application development and DevOps processes. You will report to the Associate Director of Software Engineering & Mexicali | Digital Technology, or his designated representative.

This position can be located anywhere in the continental US where high-speed internet is reliably available.

Primary Responsibilities: • Lead efforts to build, automate and enhance deployment pipelines for enterprise infrastructure and applications.• Lead efforts to evaluate and implement tools used in the DevOps toolchain.• Support DevOps tool set that drives enterprise deployments.• Provide technical leadership in effort to build and maintain enterprise DevOps infrastructure.• Lead effort to build and deploy solutions in the AWS, Azure and Google cloud environments.• Lead effort to build and maintain relationships with enterprise DevOps teams.• Lead effort to build and maintain relationships with the DevOps user community.• Communicate the DevOps vision to the enterprise.• Provide technical guidance to the DevOps user community.• Provide mentoring to junior developers

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of prior relevant experience OR• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience OR• In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder• 3+ years of DevOps and/or Cloud Development• Experience with Node, c#.net, python, or java languages• Experience with Jenkins pipelines, Azure DevOps or AWS Code Pipeline• Experience with npm, chocolatey, maven or nuget package management• Experience with Angular, Vue or React frameworks• Experience with serverless technologies in cloud environments• Experience with Oauth and/or Saml authentication• Experience with Json, or SOAP• Experience with docker• Version Control/Git/SVN/Bitbucket• Experience building, testing, securing, exposing, and consuming API's• Experience in Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with kubernetes, or docker swarm• Strong grasp of IT security protocols, processes, and best practices• Understanding of Open API Specification• ALM/Atlassian/Jira• Messaging Tools ie, MS Teams, Slack, Mattermost• Experience in technical writing.
