This Automation Tool Development Engineer position will perform automation development, execution and integration role using the skills and experience required below with the Tool development group.
Common Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, debug and implement applications in C#, ASP.Net Core MVC/ ASP.Net Programming Languages.
- Needs to be proficient in IDE's like Microsoft Visual Studio/SQL Server Management Studio and other similar platforms.
- Needs to have demonstrated experience with .NET Development.
- Be familiar with JavaScript, XML, JSON, JQuery and ASPX.
- Have expertise in T-SQL writing stored procedures, triggers and functions in SQL Server
- Have Experience in SQL Batch processes, Import, Export, Backup, Database Monitoring tools and Application support
- Analyze and develop automation tools based on internal and external requirements.
- Interact with external teams to integrate, deploy and test automation tools.
- Analyze issues coming out of the deployments, do root cause analysis and fix the issues in ASAP.
- Manage the issues identified by working with other internal and external teams.
- Be required to have ETL knowledge to transfer data from one or many sources into a destination system.
- Manage Web Server (IIS), Windows Server and SQL Database Server.
- Deploy and manage applications in various windows/database servers.
Background/Experience Required:
- 5-10 years software development experience required.
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is required.
- Previous experience in the Mobile automation test field is required.
Necessary skills/Attributes:
- Excellent Programming skills in C# (Win Form), ASP.Net Core &ASP.Net required.
- .NET ( ASP.NET Core MVC etc.), Web Service Development Experience are required.
- SQL Server Knowledge & Experience are required (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 etc.)
- C/C++/C# Knowledge is required along with experience in Visual Studio & .NET
- ETL Process knowledge is required.
- Website development knowledge is required.
- GitHub experience are required.
- Ubuntu/Linux, Python development knowledge desired.
- Previous experience in Visual Studio required.
- Telecom Industry knowledge is desired.
- Sound Software Development practices required.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ideal candidate would be the self-starting motivated type.
- Ideal candidate should be pro-active and be able to engage with multiple teams in multiple locations.
- Ideal candidate should have a can do attitude and will need to do whatever it takes to complete the job.
- Ideal candidate will require excellent multi-tasking skills.
