Join the NinjaOne Quality team to as an Automation Architect to lead us into the next generation of products for our clients. You will architect, develop, and implement a complete automation test framework and infrastructure that can span development delivery models. You will be our subject matter expert of current industry-wide quality & test processes, tools, and technologies, and a trusted advisor to our executive team. You will perform assessments, make recommendations, develop solutions, and drive forward innovation to lead the automation framework and infrastructure strategy to maximize software quality. Develop strategies for test improvement initiatives in the Automation Engineering discipline. Work along side our product teams to align long term automation solutions.
Location- we are flexible on remote working from home, as long as you are located in the USA and in one of the following states- TX, FL, CA, NC, OR, GA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL
What You'll be Doing

• Recommend new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
• Provide strategies for test improvement initiatives and efficiency increases, especially within the Automation Engineering discipline.
• Collaborate with product teams on long term solutions for test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
• Plan and communicate the automation strategy with the engineering team, make recommendations to improve reliability, performance, best practices, and processes.
• Collaborate across our teams of Architecture, Design, Development, Quality Assurance, and DevOps implementation test automation activities across the organization.
• Select best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different products and applications.
• Create a standard framework for Functional Automation, Performance Testing and Security and Penetration Testing.
• Develop automation to support regression testing based on technical analysis, complexity, and reusability.
• Mentor team members on development of automation framework and scripts.

About You

• 9 years+ experience in related field
• B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/ MS Degree from a qualified program
• Expert in testing concepts, methodologies, and processes
• Expert in automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium
• Expert in UI and/or API level test automation
• Expert in desktop application test automation
• Proficiency in OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages like Java and C++
• Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing, enhancing automation testing frameworks
• Experience with system level automation for Windows, Linux and Mac desktop applications
• Functional understanding of system resource constraints and tooling
• Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP
• Experience evaluating, architecting, implementing, and documenting software test automation frameworks across UI, API, micro services, desktop applications, and mobile platforms
• Experience in multilayer testing such as integration, API, GUI, database, unit, system, end-to-end, performance, cross platform testing, and code coverage tools and metrics
• Experience leading software test automation end-to-end testing, tooling, strategies, and roadmaps for web and mobile applications
• Hands-on QA Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain hybrid test automation frameworks
• Proficient in defining and constructing generic automation frameworks for web app, desktop, and mobile applications
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
• Solid understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies, concepts
• Competent in DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Hands-on experience evaluating and implementing automation frameworks and tooling to best fit the application domain
