Draw on experience and skills with autonomous driving technology, automotive industry standards, e.g. ISO26262, simulation tools, Polarian, JIRA, Confluence and ability to debug software issues on the SIL (Software in the Loop) to be responsible for the design and Implementation of the simulation framework to write simulation test cases and support simulation environment usage. Work closely with the systems, safety, and development teams as a member of the validation organization. Work with systems and development teams as a key stakeholder for requirements and design documentation of autonomous vehicles and their advanced systems. Analyze, review, and approve safety and performance requirements at subsystem, system, and stakeholder levels. Develop comprehensive test procedures in Polarion that fully verify and validate associated requirements for 100% coverage and design documentation. Analyze use cases and develop robust test scenarios that validate the autonomous vehicle in its operational design domain. Develop and validate virtual world or scenario align to SOTIF (Safety of the Intended Functionality) standards (OpenScenario, Opendrive etc.) Execute test scripts using simulation toolchains such as CarMaker, CarSim etc. and ensure requirements traceability with Polarion. Communicate test results to development teams and management and facilitate resolving of technical issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electronics engineering or a closely related technology/engineering field plus 1 year of experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.
