What you will be able to do
Candidates for consideration will be responsible for supporting research and developmental efforts in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). New Employee will be working in the ADAS Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineering group. You will:

  • Build advanced simulations incorporating models of RADAR/ULTRASOUND/Lidar and cameras to be used in the development and verification of ADAS technologies
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate ADAS system and subsystem performance
  • Develop 3D representations of highways, cities and test tracks using gaming engine rendering tools
  • Develop processes, methods, and tools to make ADAS simulations sharable and scalable
  • Analyze and Review simulation test data to ensure proper correlation to physical testing by utilizing real-time and post-processing data analysis tools


The minimum requirements we seek

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent combination of years and experience
  • 2+ years of experience with driver assistance features and functions
  • 2+ years of experience using Matlab and/or Simulink
  • 2+ years' experience with C and/or C++
  • 1+ years experience developing closed-loop simulations for automotive systems


Our preferred requirements

  • PhD inElectrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Experience with machine vision, cameras, image processing
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and Model Based language such as SysML
  • Experience with gaming engines such as UnReal
  • Experience with simulation software such as MonoDrive, Carla, Carsim, CarMaker
  • Background in Python programming
  • Experience building virtual simulation scenarios or crafting level maps using the Unreal gaming engine
  • Experience programming simulation capabilities using Unreal blueprints and gaming engine plugins
