The systems engineer will work with other team members to help deploy technology solutions to assist Hyatt in building a scalable, supportable, and modern solution for managing Mac, PC, and Mobile device across the entire enterprise. The role will be responsible for not only providing a strategic vision to leadership but building out the framework and documentation to those deployed technologies.
• Research, Recommend, Evaluate, and implement new technologies to support future IT initiatives
• Engage and work side by side with Engineers, Analysts, Service Desk, and IT Managers proving services including OS Imaging, Software Packaging and Deployment
• Interact with and provide direction and documentation to L2 support, vendors, and contractors
• Manage ServiceNow ticketing queue for systems team. This responsibility includes handling escalations from Service Desk, IT Managers, and other colleagues in the organization.
• Perform security procedures and follow policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal policies
• Assist with management of Windows servers ranging from Windows 2012R2 to Windows 2019
• Development of automation scripts using PowerShell for the purpose of automating routine or manual tasks

Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Windows, Mac, and Mobile devices in an enterprise environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience with the latest Mac, and Windows operating systems
• Demonstrated experience participating in incident, problem, and change control processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent work experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Microsoft or Apple certifications are preferred but not required.
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Mac OS Desktop Operating System.
• Experience with Intune, JAMF, SCCM, or another device management platform
• Experience with Microsoft PowerShell preferred
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, and Networking (DHCP, DNS)
• Experience working with ServiceNow or other enterprise ticketing solution
