This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) digital and analytics government and military business. The Software Test Automation Developer will work in a fast-paced environment and must be efficient in working both independently and across dynamic development organizations. The position will be responsible for the development of software tests and processes within the Mission Accelerator suite of capabilities and tools. The candidate will engage frequently and work closely with the Mission Accelerator leadership, customer technical experts, and government officials representing customer program management interests.Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development of software tests and materials.
  • Participates in the evaluation of software capabilities and test performance data.
  • Collects the data and provides recommendations to break/alter configurations.
  • Performs special test procedures as required to support failure investigation.
  • Prepares for next test activities or events based on results.
  • Develops test procedures, and configuration definitions needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
  • Identifies anomalies and suggests solutions and makes suggestions on emerging conditions.
  • Interfaces with customers and developers to decompose information from requirements and Statements of Work to formulate basic test approaches.
  • Reviews test data for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to delivery to the customer.
  • Provides input to lessons learned and performance metrics to improve future testing.
  • Archives data and reports as required.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience working within common testing frameworks
  • 2+ years of software integration and end to end testing methodologies
  • Experience with relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in SAFe or Agile teams

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
