The Software Engineer is responsible for working with an agile team. This position also requires collaboration across various other agile teams. This collaboration allows us to support sales and marketing channels across multiple brands for any or all of the following: consumer-facing quoting and enrollment websites, agent/broker CRM quoting and enrollment tools, and various backend API services that support these channels. This position also offers the opportunity to expand our digital footprint in the Azure Cloud.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Actively participate as a member of an agile team in a SAFe Agile environment
• Partner with development teams to design, develop, and deliver clean, efficient code based on business and innovation specifications
• Participate in the development of automated unit tests

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
• 3+ months total software engineering experience gained through work, education, coursework, training, research or similar in one of the following areas: C#, ASP.NET, TypeScript, JavaScript, or React
• 1+ years in a role using strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with business stakeholders and engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, Git version control system, and build processes
• Strong aptitude and desire to learn new languages and frameworks
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships
