Job Description Associate Developer (Python) - Technology Controls Automation. This individual will be responsible for extensively developing, reviewing, testing and implementing code supporting our technology control automation initiatives. Developer should be able to code independently, as well as assist other team members, including peer programming, test driven development and quality assurance. This role also requires experience with Agile methodology, scrum ceremonies, Cloud deployments, MySQL/Maria DB, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket etc., as well as knowledge of technical tools such as React JS, Tableau, MySQL Database. Familiarity with Infrastructure technology, risk and controls is a plus.
Required Skills:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced Python skills is a must have
• Able to write test cases in PyTest or other similar library
• Experience with MySQL (or MariaDB); and relevant Cloud-based exposure is preferred
• Knowledge of software development tools such as ReactJS , Tableau, Sonar, Bitbucket, SDLC / Jules & Jenkins pipeline, etc.
• Ability to collaborate across teams with varying levels of experience to achieve common goals
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have (but not required):

• Experience working with large scale software development efforts
• Experience with private Cloud deployment
• Experience with Agile and Lean philosophies, scrum ceremonies, JIRA, Kanban etc.
• Familiarity with technology infrastructure environments such as operating systems, networks, databases, storage, etc. is a plus
• Experience with Risk and Controls and Audit practices is a plus
