Duties:
Perform program design, coding, unit testing, debugging, conduct reviews, and documentation of risk applications. Participate in design, development, and implementation of robust, high volume data-oriented solutions using big data technologies including Java, Apache Spark and Apache Flink. Develop and implement algorithms for risk applications using high performance programming with Java and Python. Perform IBM DB2 SQL scripting and reporting and UNIX shell scripting. Serve as a technical resource to the development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Liquidity Management Systems, which provides market stability through company as Systemically important financial market utility (SIFMU). Identify and implement new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient application programming solution. Collaborate with management to provide input for the creation of project plans. Provide input to update project plans throughout the development cycle. Provide timely resolution for production issues in conjunction with Production Support staff. Work closely with the Business Analysts and other stakeholders to integrate workflows into production systems. Ensure smooth implementation of design, development, testing, release and deployment for all assigned software cycles. Education & Experience Required:
Master’s degree in CS or related and two (2) years of software development experience.
Special Skills Required:

$116,300-$133,900
