The Role

Grove’s Financial Systems team is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of the financial systems that help us manage our entire business portfolio. Today, this system consists of NetSuite, in-house data warehousing and reporting tools, as well as numerous integrations across our various enterprise systems.

We’re looking for a developer with at least one year of experience in ERP or object-oriented Javascript to support changes to our financial systems. In this role, you’ll be working alongside our two existing Financial Systems developers to advise our financial teams (including CFO and Senior Directors of Finance) on NetSuite best practices, developing implementation strategies, and managing the delivery of design changes.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an emerging company that has established systems in place but also has the appetite to grow and push them to the next level.

YOUR ROLE & IMPACT:

  • You’ll help with the redesign of our existing ERP systems to simplify period close processes and expand into new areas, including third-party wholesale, and demand planning, which are not in use today.
  • You’ll help with other Financial Systems engineers to improve the performance, traceability, and functionality of integrations within NetSuite.
  • You’ll keep internal stakeholders informed of your work status, including delays and defects.
  • You’ll work with other Financial Systems engineers to prioritize work based on due dates and system impact.
  • You will participate in requirements gathering for upcoming work, asking curious questions and offering suggestions for potential gaps.
  • You will design tests for your own work and work with other team members to validate your tests.
  • You will help other team members test their work prior to releasing it for UAT.
  • You will engage with other developers to review pull requests for code quality and best practices.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have at least one year of experience working with NetSuite as a hands-on developer or another object-oriented JavaScript framework.
  • You have at least one year of experience writing analytical SQL queries.
  • You are eager to take your career to the next level by learning best practices from more experienced team members.

THE TECHNOLOGY STACK

  • As a part of the larger operations team, FinTech supports many different systems. You will be learning and interacting with a high volume of transactions in the following languages and systems.
  • JavaScript
  • NetSuite
  • Boomi
  • HighJump
  • SnowFlake
  • MySQL
  • AirFlow
  • Python
  • FastAP

BENEFITS:

  • Core Benefits: Stock options, Medical, Dental, Vision, Pre-tax and Roth 401k options, Short term and Long Term Disability and Life Insurance, Employer contribution toward Health Savings Account (HSA)
