As a Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) Technology Development Engineer at Micron on shift, you will learn how to use state-of-the-art defect detection equipment and processes to troubleshoot and solve issues. The goal of this position is to accelerate cycles of learning and technology transfer in Technology Development. We need engineers who are passionate about detecting problems and eager to make changes for the better. You will have the opportunity to learn defect detection equipment applications and also use data analysis skills to identify and solve process issues. This position will provide the opportunity for you to collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, and yield analysis within and outside Technology Development. As a Technology Development RDA engineer, your ideas will have the ability to impact the team globally. As a shift Engineer you will learn valuable tools that will help you advance in your career to other position within RDA and Micron. You will help support all product moving through RDA across all part families and assess Defect Analysis for accuracy an be first to identify potential yield limiting issues on the front lines. Closely working with our first shift process engineers to help accelerate learning and development for High Volume Manufacturing.
Qualifications:

• Proactive and passionate about learning (training and coursework)
• We need an engineer drawn to creative problem solving and innovative solutions
• We need someone who will investigate process anomalies, root cause analysis, data manipulation, and correlations
• We desire someone ready to learn and apply basic Data Science and Data Manipulation (scripting, coding, or programming)
• The shown ability to innovate and drive effective change in an energizing environment
• Demonstrated combination of flexibility and tenacity in the pursuit of goals
• Excellent technical, communication, and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Preference for experience with metrology or inspection related to EUV processing

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyzing experimental process flows and insure inspection data needed has been completed.
• Possess a continuous improvement process (CIP) demeanor, looking for ways to improve operations, and how to make a difference today!
• Recognize, identify, and raise awareness of process anomalies with the motivation of "who needs to know this now!"
• We want our engineers to use inline process signals to drive process improvements
• Work with new inspection tools and strategies to drive towards earlier detection of problems and identify the sources
• Build and improve upon techniques and identify new ways to use existing tools in order to identify relevant process issues
• We expect active participation in technical meetings and then synthesize from it new opportunities or novel approaches
• Collaborate with the RDA and Technology Development when issues are see real time to avert excursions.

Education:
