Description

Record to Report Solution Architect

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate with the Business owners to understand business processes and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through technology solutions, including identifying business requirements, designing processes, testing and maintaining quality ERP Financial solutions
  • Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Record to Report workstream solutions, integrations with external applications as well as Oracle's Planning platform.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts such as issue tracking and resolution as well as knowledge management and collaboration using MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Primary contact for Record to Report workstream production issues
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve service desk incidents.
  • Closely partner with Business and Functional support organizations to advance capabilities and solve business needs.
  • Responsible for reviewing and remediating enhancements and impacts provided with patches and quarterly releases.
  • Consult on solution capabilities, support end user needs and manage complex business processes
  • Manage vendor relationships and influence future product direction through user group participation
  • Strong knowledge and experience configuring and supporting multiple R2R solutions, including support of complex integrations and extensions
  • Experience identifying business needs, communicating expectations to partners, validating quality, and managing the timeline to deliver
  • Experience in managing multiple small projects and initiatives
  • Manage, coach and develop to ensure all projects and initiatives are communicated and managed to meet the business objectives
  • Ability to leverage ERP Functional and Technical knowledge to drive complex business need in R2R space.
  • Facilitate technical guidance and direction to developers and analysts, including contractors and vendor resources.
  • Ensure work is quantified and tracked by enforcing discipline requiring utilization of ticket management tool (Agility and Remedy CRQ's)
  • Review Oracle SaaS Quarterly patches and define Roadmap for adaptation of new features
  • Collaborate with business partners on developing end user training leveraging Oracle Guided Learning

Qualifications

  • Subject Matter Expert for Oracle ERP Cloud Record to Report practice, 3 years of experience supporting ERP applications
  • 3 years of recent working experience with ERP modules GL, Intercompany & AR
  • Good to have but not required experience with Project Portfolio Management, Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management and Joint Venture Management
  • Knowledge of ERP Architecture, Data Modeling & Reporting Tools (BIP & OTBI)
  • Good to have development and support experience in OICS, BPM & Page Personalization
  • Must have experience leading projects, implementing & supporting ERP Financials
  • Knowledge in opening Oracle Service Request & Escalation
