Description
This Development Process and Tools (DPT) team within Caterpillar's Integrated Components and Solutions Division is seeking a senior application software engineer. The DPT team develops internally and externally facing software applications for use in designing, developing, and configuring Caterpillar products. This position will contribute to the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and issue resolution of web and desktop applications for internal and external users.
Job Duties
Designing, developing, and testing application features.
Creating and maintaining design documentation.
Troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
Providing user guidance and training.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an accredited Computer Science or Engineering curriculum.
At least 4 years of software development experience.
Proven experience developing web and desktop applications.
Top Candidates will also have
Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript programming.
Experience developing cloud-based software application solutions.
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices.
Experience in C# programming.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively.

The location for this position is Mossville, IL
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.
This position requires less than 10% travel.
