In this position, you will be the technical lead and design authority for engineering activities related to the delivery of ABB's Automation portfolio of digital solutions, systems, products and services engineering projects in Process Automation Process Industries in Westerville, Ohio. You will drive excellence, making technical recommendations to ensure that engineering activities are effectively executed in accordance with expectations, specifications, standards and safety requirements, while identifying improvement opportunities.

Your responsibilities
- Lead and implement design specifications related to PCS (Process Control System) programming, networking, systems, 3rd party integration, cyber security, and cloud base applications
- Lead and perform all application and system acceptance testing, factory and customer site
- Resolving complex technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in United States/Canada/Mexico.Travel up to 15% may be required
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by offering dialogue and excellent service at all times
- Working and networking with engineering colleagues, disseminating best practices
- Act as the PCS technical expert and provide technical advice to the project management and engineering team, tendering team and Operations management
- Understanding of customer needs and issues related to their operations and maintenance
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent and minimum 7 years of experience in Process Automation or relevant field required.
- Communications skills both in French and English.
- Process knowledge in Paper and Mining would be an asset.
- Experience with ABB 800xA and Symphony + systems would be an asset.
- Strong IT / Microsoft Windows skills.
- Knowledge of OS virtualization.
- LAN/WAN industrial networks.
- Experience with ABB 800xA and Symphony plus systems would be an asset.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
