We are looking for a driven technical expert who want to be a part of a team that delivers value at a pace they have never experienced before in a corporate environment. Someone who would like to become an expert guide, a domain expert in the technical aspects of digital transformation as it relates to manufacturing. Someone who will continuously educate our customers, our team, and ultimately unlock a value that makes Tulip distinct on the market.
About You:
- You are a tinkerer, a technical jack of all trades. Someone who might build their own IoT smart home with esp32
- You have a strong understanding of technical concepts, and you enjoy applying them in a customer facing role to audiences with a variety of different backgrounds
- You are eager to figure out why things are broken and turn your learnings into improved processes and best practices
- You are curious and excited to learn about new and old technologies powering a modern factory
- You are a good communicator and able to speak to shop floor operators just as comfortably as you would to an IT & Security Director
- You work well as an independent contributor and as part of a team
What skills do I need?
- Functional knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Industrial Networking, and a programming language (We use Javascript and Node-RED)
- Familiarity with enterprise IT/OT operations
- Ability to parse and define data flows in complex multi-system operations, identify and call out tradeoffs in implementation strategies
- Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to explain simple to complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interested to travel to customer sites up to 10% of the time
Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical delivery aspects of Tulip implementation. Work with our internal delivery team, customer stakeholders, and partner organizations to bring value to customers in rapid time
- Develop best practices, reference architectures, and educate the greater team
- Work with our engineering and product team to scope new features
- Provide guidance to customers transforming their operations with digital tools
