API Developer Specialist

As an experienced API Developer Specialist, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated development, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements
  • Experience:
    • Java Spring Boot: Implements Java Restful APIs using Spring Boot, Junit, OpenAPI
    • Test Automation: Writes Acceptance and Unit tests as code you TypeScript and Jasmine Framework
  • Working experience with either Java, JavaScript, .NET or Python
  • Knowledge or previous experience in designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs including SOAP based APIs
  • Extensive experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, API Management technologies and standards
  • Detailed understanding of API lifecycle and being involved in all the stages
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Travel up to 10% annually (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS cloud
  • Hands on experience with build management tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, etc.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout the project, develop and implement mitigation measures
  • Work with team to create and influence proper standards for development, governance and operational lifecycle
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of APIs & cloud integration operations and delivery
