You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a part of our core engineering team to ensure the highest standards of design trends, implementation, performance, and security
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure all customer needs are met
  • Own the design and architecture of key roadmap items and do the coding to create a scaffolding that the developers can use
  • Own and lead the PoC efforts on critical and core long term design features
  • Help the team execute on the design and do a code review on a daily basis to ensure it's being done correctly
  • Help the team imbibe the habit of writing high-quality code, unit/integration test cases, using CI/CD pipelines with equal focus on functional as well as non-functional items

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working in software engineering organizations, preferably building high-performing, consumer-facing products
  • Good knowledge of Agile and scrum methodologies
  • Expertise level in Angular 10+
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
  • Expertise of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation techniques
  • Expertise in RESTful services
  • Expertise in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp
  • Expertise in object-oriented analysis, design and programming


Preferred Qualifications:

  • US healthcare domain experience
  • Java/J2ee Expertise
  • Curious, autonomous and motivated to explore and learn new/legacy technologies as the tasks/role demands

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
